South Australian Railways 520 Class Locomotive (2017 version)

Seperate PDF's are supplied for the first series of the class (520-522), and the later versions (523-531) with the different nose design.
Includes parts wanted list and DIY printable decal file.
Requires Big Ben XL Wheels and runs best on large radius curves. (R104 and greater)
Professionally printed decals are available to purchase seperately.

523-531 build consists of 1287 parts

This is a circa 2017 design and (besides the Big Ben wheels) does not use any custom parts.  The rods are constructed from Technic liftarms.  A more accurately proportioned and realistic model has since been designed and built using 3d printed rods and valve gear, a combination of Big Ben and 3d printed wheels and utilizes modern parts not available in 2017 to achieve far more detail than this version.  Instructions will be made available towards the end of 2024
